Said machine to always be subject to- the County's demand. <br />The Board then adjourned until Saturday, May 19th, 1928. <br />e <br />a rman. <br />ATTEST <br />- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - <br />SATURDAY, MAY 19th 1928.. <br />The Board of County Commissioners in aryl for Indian River County, Florida, met at <br />the Court House in Vero Beach, at 2 o'clock P .M. Saturday, May 19th, 19289 .with the <br />following members <br />of the <br />Board present: <br />John H. Atkin, Chairman; Geo. A. Braddock; <br />J. J. P. Hamilton <br />and J. <br />V. LaBruce and <br />O.O.Helseth. Also present was Miles Marren, <br />Clerk. <br />J. W. Knight <br />a candidate for Sheriff <br />appeared before <br />the Board and requested that <br />he be permitted to <br />withdrew from the race <br />for Sheriff, and <br />requested that his name be <br />stricken from the list of names to be printed on the Ballot. It .was moved, <br />seconded and, carried that the request be granted, and that such candidate's name be <br />omitted f rom the official ballot to b e printed and that the assessment of $7.5.00 paid <br />into the Clerk by such candidate be refunded to Mr. Knight. <br />The following names having been certified by the Secretary of State to this Board <br />as candidates for the State offices set opposite their respective names, same were <br />ordered placed on the official Primary Election ballot of the Democratic Party for the <br />primary election to be held Tuesday, June 5th 19289 to -wit:- <br />FOR UffITED STATES SENATOR: <br />John W.
