TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 10, 1959 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, met <br />at the Courthouse, Vero Beach, Florida in a special meeting held at 9:00 <br />o'clock A. M., Tuesday, November 10, 1959. Present were Robert W. Graves, <br />D. B. McCullers, Jr., and Dr. B. Q. Waddell. Absent were Donald Macdonald <br />and J. J. P. Hamilton. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order and announced this <br />meeting was called for the purpose of considering a request made by the <br />Mackle Company that they be allowed to construct buildings and other <br />recreational structures upon the property dedicated by them as a park <br />in Vero Beach Highlands Subdivision. After some discussion in the matter <br />and upon Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Waddell and unanimously carried the following Resolution was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that General Development Corporation and/or <br />The Mackie Company are herewith granted the right to construct buildings and <br />other recreational structures and facilities and the right to keep, maintain and <br />operate recreational facilities and structures upon the property dedicated as <br />a park, as shown on Sheet 2 of the plat of Vero Beach Highlands, Unit 2, <br />recorded in Plat Book 5, page 78, in the office of the Clerk of the Circuit <br />Court of Indian River County, Florida. <br />There being no further business, upon Motion made, seconded <br />and carried, the Board then adjourned. <br />
