SECTION 00800 Supplementary Conditions <br /> SC -1 . 00 Introduction <br /> These Supplementary Conditions amend or supplement the Standard General Conditions of the <br /> Construction Contract ( No . 1910-8 , 1996 Edition ) and other provisions of the Contract Documents <br /> as indicated below. All provisions , which are not so amended or supplemented , remain in full force <br /> and effect . <br /> The terms used in these Supplementary Conditions will have the meanings indicated in the General <br /> Conditions . <br /> SC -2 . 03 Commencement of Contract Times : Notice to Proceed <br /> SC-2 . 03 Delete paragraph GC 2. 03 in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its place: <br /> 2 . 03 A Notice to Proceed may be given at any time within thirty days after the <br /> Effective Date of the Agreement. The Contract Time will commence at the time <br /> specified in such notice or, if no notice is given thirty days following the Effective <br /> Date of Agreement, provided that the Notice to Proceed may not specify a time of <br /> commencement later than 60 days after the Effective Date of the Agreement. <br /> SC -2 . 05 Before Starting Construction <br /> SC-2 . 05 . C . Delete paragraph GC 2. 05. 0 in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its <br /> place: <br /> low <br /> C . Evidence of Insurance: CONTRACTOR shall not commence work under this <br /> Contract until he has obtained all insurance required under Article 5 and such <br /> insurance has been approved by the OWNER , nor shall the CONTRACTOR allow <br /> any Subcontractor to commence work on his subcontract until all similar insurance <br /> required of the Subcontractor has been so obtained and approved . All such <br /> insurance shall remain in effect until final payment and at all times thereafter when <br /> CONTRACTOR may be correcting , removing or replacing defective Work in <br /> accordance with Article 13 . <br /> SC -3 . 03 . 8 . 2 Coordination of Plans , Specifications , and Special Provisions <br /> SC-3 . 06 Add the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph GC-3. 03. 6. 1 : <br /> SC-3 . 03 . 13 . 2 Coordination of Plans, Specifications, and Special Provisions <br /> 2 . In case of discrepancy, the governing order of the contract documents shall be as <br /> follows : <br /> a . Written Interpretations <br /> b . Addenda <br /> C . Specifications <br /> d .
