f <br /> CONTINUING CONTRACT AGREEMENT - <br /> for <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> THIS CONTINUING CONTRACT AGREEMENT for PROFESSIONAL <br /> SERVICES ( "Agreement" or " Master Agreement" ) , entered into as of this 15th <br /> day of March , 2005 by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY , a political <br /> subdivision of the State of Florida , ( " COUNTY" ) and HYDROM NTIA , INC . , <br /> (" Consultant" ) . <br /> BACKGROUND RECITALS : <br /> A . In accordance with the Consultants ' Competitive Negotiation Act , Section <br /> 287 . 055 , Florida Statutes , the COUNTY has selected the Consultant to provide certain <br /> professional services relating to ( 1 ) Design and Maintenance of Managed Aquatic Plant <br /> Systems and Passive Wetland Systems for Nutrient and Color Removal ; ( ) Creation of <br /> Wildlife Habitat ; and (2 ) Stormwater Program Funding Analysis , Grant Wri ing , and Rate <br /> Studies , ( " Services " ) . These Services are intended to help the County achieve its <br /> mission of eliminating pollution of the Indian River Lagoon that is caused by stormwater <br /> runoff and groundwater seepage . Such Services are required byte County in <br /> accordance with the East Indian River County Master Stormwater Manaclement Plan , <br /> federal Phase II National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System ( NPDES ) <br /> requirements , and state and local requirements related to stormwater runoff. <br /> B . The Consultant is willing and able to perform the Se ices for the <br /> COUNTY on the terms and conditions set forth below ; and <br /> C . The COUNTY and the Consultant wish to enter into this Agreement for the <br /> Consultant' s Services for the Project . <br /> NOW THEREFORE , in accordance with the mutual covenants her in contained <br /> and other good and valuable consideration , the receipt and sufficiency of which are <br /> hereby acknowledged , the parties agree as follows : <br /> 1 .
