J •/ ? r I " <br /> 6 � A <br /> CONTINUING CONTRACT AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> THIS CONTINUING CONTRACT AGREEMENT for PROFESSIONAL <br /> SERVICES ( "Agreement" or " Master Agreement" ) , entered into as of this 15th <br /> day of March , 2005 by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY , a political <br /> subdivision of the State of Florida , (" COUNTY" ) , and CAMP DRESSER & McKEE , <br /> INC . , (" Consultant" ) . <br /> BACKGROUND RECITALS : <br /> A . In accordance with the Consultants ' Competitive NegotiationD Act , Section <br /> 287 . 055 , Florida Statutes , the COUNTY has selected the Consultant to provide certain <br /> professional services relating to ( 1 ) Design of Treatment Systems for Nutrient , <br /> Sediment , and Other Pollutant Removal From Stormwater Runoff; (2 ) La ge Reservoir <br /> System Design ; (3 ) Design and Maintenance of Managed Aquatic Plant Systems and <br /> Passive Wetland Systems for Nutrient and Color Removal ; (4 ) Hydraulic a d Hydrologic <br /> Computer Modeling ; ( 5 ) Stormwater BMP Design and NPDES Compliance ; (6 ) <br /> Stormwater Program Funding Analysis , Grant Writing , and Rate Studies ( " Services " ) . <br /> These Services are intended to help the County achieve its mission of eliminating <br /> pollution of the Indian River Lagoon that is caused by stormwate runoff and <br /> groundwater seepage . Such Services are required by the County in accordance with <br /> the East Indian River County Master Stormwater Management Plan , federal Phase II <br /> National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System ( NPDES ) requirements , nd state and <br /> local requirements related to stormwater runoff. <br /> Be The Consultant is willing and able to perform the Se ices for the <br /> COUNTY on the terms and conditions set forth below ; and <br /> C . The COUNTY and the Consultant wish to enter into this Agreement for the <br /> Consultant' s Services for the Project . <br /> NOW THEREFORE , in accordance with the mutual covenants her 3in contained <br /> and other good and valuable consideration , the receipt and sufficiency of which are <br /> hereby acknowledged , the parties agree as follows : <br /> 1 .
