SECTION 01025 <br /> TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> STANDARD SPECIFICATIONS <br /> A . All work of this Contract shall conform to the applicable technical specifications of <br /> Florida Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge <br /> Construction , current edition , and Supplemental Specification , Special Provisions and <br /> addenda thereto, except as modified and supplemented hereinafter. Reference to <br /> Article numbers herein-after applyto the FDOT Standard Specifications , and reference <br /> in FDOT Standard Specifications to Department shall be taken as the Owner or its <br /> appointed Representative . Wherever the Specifications, Supplementals , etc. may <br /> refer to the "Owner" , " Department" , "State of Florida Department of Transportation", or <br /> words relating to offices of State Government, such words shall be taken as meaning <br /> Owner or Indian River County , Florida . Wherever the word "Owner's Engineer", <br /> " District Engineer" , " Engineer" , " Project Engineer" , etc. , appears , it shall be taken to <br /> mean the Registered Professional Project Engineer of the Indian River County Public <br /> Works Department , Engineering Division acting directly or through duly authorized <br /> representatives . Wherever the word "Resident Engineer" appears , it shall be taken to <br /> mean an authorized representative of the Owner's Engineer on the Project (Resident <br /> Construction Inspector) who will act as an agent for Indian River County, assigned to <br /> observe the progress quantity and quality of the work. <br /> a <br /> ITEMS OF PAYMENT <br /> ,. ITEM NO. 1 - MOBILIZATION <br /> The work specified in this section shall conform to Section 101 of the Florida Department of <br /> ,. Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction . (2000 Edition) <br /> Item of Payment <br /> r <br /> Payment for the work specified in this item shall be made under: <br /> Bid Item No . 1 - Mobilization - Lump Sum <br /> ITEM NO. 2 - MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC <br /> The work specified in this item shall conform to Section 102 of the Florida Department of <br /> Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction (2004 Edition) , <br /> except as modified herein . <br /> A . GENERAL PROVISIONS-DESCRIPTION : The work specified in this Section consists <br /> of maintaining traffic within the limits of the project for the duration of the construction <br /> period , including any temporary suspensions of the work.
