Mr. Walker further stated that with reference to the amount of land <br />desired for .right of way for a road across the Ik of the NEk of NEk of <br />r <br />Sec.• 15, T.32 S, R 39E, Eli, Inc. will convey the land requested provided <br />the County will arrange access facilities be granted at a point along <br />each side. of the right of way to allow the owner proper access. iii and - <br />out of ,;his remaining property. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Mac- <br />donald, seconded by Commissioner McCullers, and unanimously carried, <br />the Board agrees that the County will construct the necessary access <br />facilities. <br />Cory Walker then stated that he.would like to speak as the President <br />of the Indian River County Bar Association and on behalf of the Bar, <br />Association would like to request that two smaller tables be placed in <br />the Courtroom, that the large table in the Courtroom be placed in the <br />Jury room, that the Jury room be painted and that some new chairs be <br />bought for the Jury room. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald <br />seconded by Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, the Board <br />requested the County Engineer obtain estimates on all the work and items <br />requested by the Bar Association and report back to the Board. <br />Mr. H. L. Griffith who owns property on the new U.S. #1 Right of <br />Way appeared before the Board and requested that the County move is <br />house as far back on his property as possible. The County Engineer <br />stated that it would cost approximately $750.00 to move the house. It <br />was further noted that his house without moving it would be close to <br />40 feet from the paved portion of the road, and that the County would <br />have to put in a new well. The Attorney stated that the appraised value <br />was $150.00. After considerable discussion in the Matter and upon Motion <br />made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and <br />unanimously carried, the Board offered Mr. Griffith $800.00 and this would <br />be in lieu of anything else, such as the well,etc. Mr. Griffith said he <br />would let the Board know later his decision. <br />The Board presented some letters of agreement with several property <br />owners and after some discussion and upon Motion made by Commissioner <br />Waddell, seconded'by C m issioner Macdonald and unanimously carried the <br />following agreement was unanimously.carried. <br />
