The Attorney for the Board stated that the Surrencys had applied <br />for a rehearing on their suit'.regarding the right of way at Blue Cypress <br />Lake. <br />Upon -Motion made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Hamilton and unanimously carried, -the following Resolution was adopted: <br />That pursuant to the agreement dated July 11, 1959,between <br />Roland B. Miller and Iridian River County, the County does herewith elect <br />to exercise its option to purchase Lots 6 and 79, Ambersand Beach #1, <br />formerly situated in Brevard County, now in Indian River County,.Florida, <br />and does herewith direct that written notice of this election and the <br />exercise,of this option be given to the owner, and that upon receipt of <br />proper deed of conveyance, the purchase price of $11,856.25 be paid. <br />The County Engineer stated that a right of way for 6th Avenue <br />could be obtained from Thelma S. Smeltzer for the cost of two water <br />taps from Dan Knoebel, that the cost of the two taps would be $130.00. <br />The Board authorized the payment of $130.00 to Mrs. Smeltzer in return <br />for a 60 foot right of way on 6th Avenue. <br />The County Engineer stated.that he would like to advertize to <br />sell some scrap out at the barn. Upon Motion made by Commissioner <br />Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and unanimously carried, <br />the Board authorized that said scrap be advertized for sale.' <br />In compliance with the law the following named persons were selected <br />to serve on the Jury in Indian River County for the coming year. <br />
