The above notice was read by the Attorney and the Chairman asked if <br />there were any present who wished to be heard. Mr. Walter Buckingham was <br />recognized by the chair and asked what was meant in the notice by "buildings <br />site area of 10 acres". It was.explained that to be rezoned to Retirement <br />District the area should be at least 10 acres in size and that Mr. Buckingham's <br />was much more or around 22.to 23 acres. No one else wished to be heard with. <br />respect to any of the items. The Chairman stated that they would vote on <br />each item separately. <br />Commissioner McCullers made the Motion, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton <br />r <br />and uanimously carried, that the recommendations of the Zoning Board be granted <br />as to Item #1 creating a new zone to be known as R -3-A, Retirement District. <br />Commissioner McCullers made the Motion, seconded by Commissioner 'Hamilton <br />and unanimously carried, to accept the recommendations of the Zoning Board as <br />to Item #2 to rezone Tracts A and C of Buckinghammock S/D from R -1-A Country <br />Home District to R -3-A, REtirement Home District. <br />Commissioner Hamilton made the Motion, seconded by Commissioner Waddell <br />and unanimously carried, to accept the recommendations of the Zoning Board as <br />to Item #3 to rezone a part of Albrecht Acres S/D from R-1, Single Family <br />District to R-3, Transient District. <br />The Attorney stated he had prepared a Resolution with the above changes <br />and upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was adopted: <br />RESOLUTION <br />WHEREAS, the Zoning Commission of Indian River County, <br />Florida, did after public i,eai,ng utaxe ii, sinal report recommending change <br />and additions to the Zoning Resolution of Indian River County, Flon da; and, <br />WHEREAS, this Board did publish its notice of said recommended <br />changes and additions and did, pursuant thereto, hold a public hearing in <br />relation thereto at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; Now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning Resolution of Indian River <br />County, Florida, and the accompanying Zoning Map, be changed as follows: <br />1. That the Zoning Resolution have added thereto a new section <br />establishing a new and additional zone to be known and designated as R-3 A, <br />Retirement District, in which said District the uses permitted shall be all of <br />the uses permitted in the R-1 A, Country Home District, and housing facili- <br />ties and services especially designed to meet the spiritual, physical and <br />
