3 . 3 PERIODIC CONTRIBUTIONS <br /> Notwithstanding the requirement provided above and in other Articles of this Plan <br /> that Salary Redirections be contributed to the Plan by the Employer on behalf of an Employee <br /> on a level and pro rata basis for each payroll period , the Employer and Administrator may <br /> implement a procedure in which Salary Redirections are contributed throughout the Plan Year <br /> on a periodic basis that is not pro rata for each payroll period . However, with regard to <br /> the <br /> Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan , the payment schedule for the required contributions <br /> may not be based on the rate or amount of reimbursements during the Plan Year. In the event <br /> Salary Redirections are not made on a pro rata basis , upon termination of participation , a <br /> Participant may be entitled to a refund of such Salary Redirections pursuant to Section 2 . 5 . <br /> ARTICLE IV <br /> BENEFITS <br /> 4 . 1 BENEFIT OPTIONS <br /> If so offered by the Employer, each Participant may elect to have the amount of <br /> his Cafeteria Plan Benefit Dollars applied to any one or more of the following optional Benefits : <br /> ( 1 ) Medical Expense Reimbursement Plan <br /> ( 2 ) Dependent Day Care Reimbursement Plan <br /> In addition , each Participant shall have a sufficient portion of his Cafeteria Plan <br /> Benefit Dollars applied to the following insured benefits unless the Participant elects not to <br /> receive such benefits : <br /> ( 3 ) Group Sponsored Benefit Plans <br /> 4 . 2 MEDICAL EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT PLAN BENEFIT <br /> Each Participant may elect coverage under the Medical Expense Reimbursement <br /> Plan option , in which case Article VI shall apply . <br /> 4 . 3 DEPENDENT DAY CARE REIMBURSEMENT PLAN BENEFIT <br /> Each Participant may elect coverage under the Dependent Day Care <br /> Reimbursement Plan option , in which case Article VII shall apply . <br /> 4 . 4 GROUP SPONSORED BENEFIT PLANS <br /> ( a ) The Employer may select additional health policies or allow the <br /> purchase of additional health policies by and for Participants , which policies will <br /> provide uniform benefits for all Participants electing this Benefit . These benefits <br /> can include health , dental , vision , Employee group term life insurance ( up to <br /> $ 50 , 000 death benefit) , disability, accident , cancer and intensive care insurance <br /> plans . <br /> ( b ) The rights and conditions with respect to the benefits payable from <br /> any additional Contract shall be determined therefrom , and such Contract shall <br /> be incorporated herein by reference . <br /> 6 <br />
