(hereinafter referred to as "SURVEYOR") is pleased to submit this
proposal for professional surveying services to INDIAN RIVER COUNTY (hereinafter referred to as
"COUNTY") for the GPS Densification Project 2007 located in Indian River County, Florida (hereinafter
referred to as "PROJECT").
It is the SURVEYOR'S understanding that the COUNTY is adding to, and strengthening the existing
published geodetic control in and around Indian River County for surveying and GIS purposes. To
accomplish this task, the COUNTY requested professional surveying and mapping services to Blue Book
two (2) Indian River County continuous operating Antenna Base Stations. The two (2) base stations will
be included within the Geodetic Control Densification Network we are currently preparing to be
submitted to the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) for inclusion into the National Spatial Reference
System (NSRS).
Scope of Services
Task 01 - Continuous Operating Base Station Blue Booking
The SURVEYOR will include the two (2) existing Continuous Operating Base Stations within the
proposed 2007 Geodetic Control Network to be submitted to the National Geodetic Survey (NGS) for
Blue Booking purposes. The SURVEYOR will take digital pictures, prepare "Go To" descriptions, and
submit additional information provided by the COUNTY to NGS as a part of the proposed 2007 Geodetic
Control Network. The two (2) Continuous Operating Base Stations positions will be published on the
2007 NGS adjustment. Said position will be based upon the bracket or threaded bolt that holds the
antenna.
