M. Engineering Project No. PSL1825 -2 <br /> Ladies and Gentlemen: <br /> A. M. Engineering and Testing, Inc. is pleased to submit this geotechnical report for the <br /> referenced project. This letter describes the project and its location, explains our field <br /> explorations and findings , presents background information from outside references, discusses <br /> our findings and concludes with our estimate of the average wet season high water table. <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project site is an approximately 4 '/z acre tract in the southwestern quadrant of Section 33 , <br /> Township 31S , Range 39E. The east end is bounded by the lateral ` G ' canal and the south end by <br /> 77"' Street. <br /> The project consists of a maintenance complex with access drives and parking areas. Stormwater <br /> runoff will be handled with a pond located in the northeast comer of the site. <br /> FIELD EXPLORATIONS <br /> The subsurface conditions at the project site were explored on April 10, 2007, with two (2) <br /> Auger borings in the proposed pond . The auger borings were performed in general accordance <br /> with ASTM D 1452, "Practice for Soil Investigation and Sampling by Auger Borings". <br /> The approximate locations of the explorations are noted on the Boring Location Plan . The <br /> borings were located based on the provided plans, tree survey and estimated distances to <br /> distinguishable landmarks . The depths on the boring logs are below the ground surface at the t <br /> time the borings were completed. I f <br /> In addition to the stormwater management explorations, A. M .
