3 . 01 SURVEY <br /> The Contractor is responsible for staking out the building lines and certifying the slab <br /> elevation prior to the pouring of any concrete slabs . When the project is located within a <br /> flood zone, a copy of said slab survey shall be supplied to the Owner for his Flood <br /> Insurance qualification purposes . <br /> 4 . 01 OMISSIONS <br /> A . The drawings and specifications are intended to cooperate. Anything shown on the <br /> drawings but not mentioned in the specifications, or vice versa, or anything not <br /> expressly set forth in either, but which is reasonably implied, shall be furnished as if <br /> specifically shown and mentioned in both without extra charge. <br /> B . Should anything be omitted from the drawings which is necessary for the proper <br /> construction of the work herein described, it shall be the duty of the Contractor to so <br /> notify the Owner in writing, if recognized, with a copy to the Architect. In the event of <br /> the Contractor failing to give notice, of a recognized error in the plans, he shall bear <br /> the extra cost in his/her work caused thereby without extra charge to the Owner as <br /> referenced in A .I . A. 201 . <br /> 5 . 01 DIMENSIONS <br /> i Figures given on the drawings govern scaled measurements and larger scale governs <br /> smaller. Do not scale the blueline prints. <br /> 6 . 01 INSPECTIONS <br /> The Architect will review with the General Contractor, prior to the beginning of <br /> construction, all mandatory inspections . The General Contractor shall afford the inspector <br /> every facility for inspecting the work/materials. No piping, wiring, ducts, etc. , shall be <br /> covered up until properly inspected and approved, and until certificates, if required, shall <br /> have been issued for same. The Contractor shall notify the Architect of each inspection <br /> being requested of the Building Department. The Contractor shall give the Architect a <br /> minimum of 24 hours advanced notice of a required or periodically requested inspection . <br /> 7 . 01 PROTECTION/SECURITY/STORAGE <br /> The General Contractor shall provide and maintain the physical security of the property by <br /> providing normal lock up measures to preclude trespassing, burglary, and vandalism . All <br /> materials in or designed for the work shall be, at all times, suitably housed or protected <br /> with particular care being taken of all finished items. Building materials, Contractor' s <br /> equipment, etc. , may be stored on the premises but the placing of same shall be subject to <br /> the approval of the Owner. Whenever the Contractor makes a request for payment on f - <br /> materials stored off-site, a Certificate of Insurance for that material must be attached . t <br /> 01200-2 <br />
