SECTION 01700 - PROJECT CLOSEOUT <br /> PART 1 - GENERAL <br /> 1 . 01 GENERAL <br /> The provisions of this section apply primarily to closeout of actual physical work, not to <br /> administrative matters such as final payment and changeover of insurance. Specific <br /> requirements in other sections have precedence over general requirements of this section. <br /> 1 . 02 RECORD DOCUMENTATION <br /> A . Record Drawings : Maintain a complete set of blue/blackline prints of contract <br /> drawings and shop drawings for record mark-up purposes throughout the Contract <br /> Time. Mark-up drawings during the course of the work to show changes and actual <br /> installation conditions, sufficient to form a complete record for Owner' s purposes . <br /> Give particular attention to work for Owner ' s purposes . Give particular attention to <br /> work which will be concealed and difficult to measure and record at a later date, <br /> particularly work which may require servicing or replacement during the life of the <br /> project. Request subcontractors and mechanics marking the prints to sign and date <br /> each mark-up. Bind prints into manageable sets, with durable paper covers, <br /> appropriately labeled. Record drawings to be available at time of landscaping. <br /> B . Operation and Maintenance Manuals : Provide (4) four 3-ring vinyl-covered <br /> binders containing required maintenance manuals, properly identified and indexed . <br /> Include operating and maintenance instructions ; extended to cover emergencies, <br /> spare parts, warranties, inspection, procedures, diagrams, safety, security, and <br /> similar appropriate data for each system or equipment item. Provide names and <br /> phone numbers of all subcontractors and suppliers as a cover sheet in each binder. <br /> 1 .03 OPERATOR INSTRUCTIONS <br /> Require each installer of systems requiring continued operation/maintenance by Owner' s <br /> operating personnel , to provide on location instruction to Owner' s personnel, sufficient to <br /> ensure safe, secure, efficient, non-failing utilization and operation of systems. Provide <br /> instructions for the following categories of work: <br /> Mechanical, electrical and electronic systems (not limited to work of Divisions 15 <br /> and 16) . Live plant materials, lawns and irrigation systems well, pump, potable <br /> water treatment systems, fire sprinklers, security system, and fire alarm control <br /> system . <br /> PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> 3 . 01 FINAL CLEANING <br /> 01700-1 <br />
