OUTPUTS/DELIVERABLES : <br /> Task 1 - Surveying and Modeling . The selected site on the Main Canal will be surveyed <br /> with detailed cross sections in preparation for construction plans. <br /> Deliverables: Completed prior to this Agreement. <br /> Task 2 - Prepare and Submit Quality Assurance Project Plan . Prepare a Quality Assurance <br /> Project Plan (QAPP) for the water quality monitoring task and submit it to FDEP for review. <br /> Deliverables : Quality Assurance Project Plan <br /> Task 3 - Construction Plans and Permitting . Construction plans and specifications will be <br /> developed for the Main Relief Canal pollution control structure that includes : Canal bank <br /> stabilization and erosion control , floating debris deflector, sediment collection and pumping <br /> system , off-line flow channel , bar-screen system , and a materials handling area . Necessary <br /> construction permits will also be obtained . <br /> Deliverables : Construction plans and specifications , copies of all permits obtained by Indian <br /> River County. <br /> Task 4 - Construction . Construction of the Main Relief Canal Pollution Control Structure will <br /> take place once the construction plans have been completed and the necessary permits <br /> obtained . Indian River County, as well as its consulting engineers, will provide construction <br /> inspection in order to assure that the improvements are built in accordance with the plans <br /> and specifications . Indian River County staff will bid and award the construction contract <br /> and administer it during construction . <br /> Deliverables : Construction progress summary (contained in Quarterly Reports) <br /> Task 5 - Public Involvement. A stormwater education campaign will be initiated in concert <br /> with construction to heighten awareness of the canal drainage system and the pollution it <br /> carries to the estuary. The St. Johns River Water Management District's IRL License Plate <br /> program has authorized the funding of 100 metal 30" x 34" street signs to be erected at <br /> strategic locations throughout the drainage basin . The sign will picture the license plate <br /> snook and read : "All Canals Drain To Lagoon - No Trash ! ". Signs will be placed at <br /> intersections near major canals . Newspaper articles and brochures will link the new road <br /> signs with the construction of the Main Relief Canal pollution control structure. <br /> Deliverables : Summary of Public Involvement (contained in Quarterly Reports ) <br /> Task 6 - Effectiveness Evaluation (Water Quality Monitoring ) . Project effectiveness <br /> monitoring will be provided in order to demonstrate the environmental benefits of the Main <br /> Relief Canal Pollution Control Structure . A Preliminary Effectiveness Monitoring Plan <br /> (Water Quality Monitioring Plan ) has been included in this proposal as Attachment A. . <br /> Deliverables : Summary of water quality monitoring results (contained in Preliminary Project <br /> Report and Final Project Report) <br /> Quarterly Reports. Each quarter, a project status report will be prepared . <br /> Deliverables: Quarterly Reports <br /> Task 7 - Preliminary Project Report. A preliminary project report will be prepared that will <br /> access the project's effectiveness.
