Spessard L. Holland; Senator George A. Smathers; Paul G. Rogers, <br />Congressman, 6th Congressional District; Farris Bryant, Democratic <br />Nominee for Governor; Harry J. Kicliter, Senator 12th District of <br />Florida; and L. B. Vocelle, Representative from Indian River County. <br />The Board requested the County Engineer attend the meeting in West Palm <br />Beach and Dr. B. Q. Waddell and E. E. Carter attend the meeting in Jack- <br />sonville. <br />A letter was received from L. B. Vocelle, Vero Beach City Attorney <br />together with a Resolution requesting the County Commissioners dedicate <br />Lot 13 and Lot 28, Block 13 of Veromar Subdivision to the City of Vero <br />Beach for public use. The Deputy Clerk stated she had looked into the <br />matter and found these two lots had been dedicated to the City for Public <br />:Use and Yacht Basin back in 1944. The Board then requested the Deputy <br />'Clerk so notify the City, this upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, <br />,seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried. <br />A letter was read from Pasco Woods and discussed and ordered filed, <br />and upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />McCullers and unanimously carried, the following Resolution was adopted: <br />r <br />rr <br />R E S G L U T I 0 N <br />That the matter of criminal costs in the recent criminal <br />proceedings in the County Court of Indian River County, Florida, In <br />Re: State of Florida vs. Frank C. Hamblin, was presented to the • <br />Board through Mr. Hamblin's Attorney by letter dated September 29th, <br />and that this Board finds that the claim made by Mr. Hamblin is not <br />in order for audit and approval by this Board for the following reasons: <br />
