Mr. Foster who lives at the corner of Clemanns & Rosedale appeared <br />before the Board and requested that speed limit signs be put up at that <br />corner. After some discussion in the matter, Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, that <br />the State Road Department be requested to make a traffic survey at Clemann's <br />and 16th, Clemann's and Glendale, and Clemann's and Oslo. <br />Homer Fletcher appeared before the Board and stated he had received the <br />following bids for office equipment. <br />O'Haire Office Equipment Company ---------- Bid of $5,471.00 <br />H & W B Drew Company ---------------------- Bid of $5,900.00 <br />Vero Office Supply Co. -------------------- Bid of $5,676.07 <br />Mr. Fletcher recommended that the Board accept the low bid of O'Haire Office <br />Equipment Company. Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously carried to accept the low bid by 0"Haire <br />Office Equipment Co. in the amount of $5,471.00 for office equipment for the <br />Tax Assessor's Office. <br />Deacon Brown from Gifford appeared before the Board and stated the <br />Deacon's Union in Gifford had bought two lots in Gifford on which to build <br />an Old Folk's Home and they were going to need some help in building and <br />furnishing the Home. The Board told Brown they would consider giving them <br />some help in the next year's budget. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, <br />were examined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in settle- <br />ment of same. Such bills and accounts being on file in the Office of the <br />Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued from the respective funds <br />being listed in the Supplemental Minute Book as provided by the rules of <br />the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded being <br />made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depositories filed their monthly statement, showing receipts <br />and disbursements of the various funds, which have been audited and found <br />to be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Board then adjourned. <br />
