WO# 3 <br /> Oslo Road and Oslo Road Boat Ramp Improvements <br /> IRC Project No. 0381 <br /> 9. Baseline turbidity readings will be obtained in Indian River Lagoon adjacent to the <br /> boat ramp and in the existing wet ditch on the south side of the road. <br /> MOT will be according to FDOT Design Standards 602 for the boring locations that falls within <br /> 15 feet from the edge of the road . <br /> Laboratory Testing <br /> 1 . Laboratory examination (classification) of the soil samples and physical property <br /> tests of same to establish their plasticity, gradation , organic content, moisture <br /> content and LBR. <br /> Reporting <br /> 1 . Preparation and submittal of a Roadway Soil Survey Report in general accordance <br /> with Chapter 9 of FDOT's Soils and Foundation Handbook (2006). The report will <br /> address plastic or unsuitable soils (limits and volume) , if present, projected water <br /> table levels , and design/construction options to deal with potential plastic soils and <br /> perched water (e.g . , medians) . The report will include drafted cross-sectional <br /> profiles of the subsurface conditions with AASHTO soil classifications. <br /> 2 . Pile capacity graphs will be provided for the timber piles that will be used to support <br /> the access ramps and fishing piers. Dunkelberger will require nominal diameter of <br /> the piles , design scour depth and design capacity of these piles to determine the <br /> minimum length of the piles . <br /> All work shall also comply with the current Florida Minimum Technical Standards. <br /> COMPENSATION . <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the Geotechnical Professional agrees to accept, a fee for <br /> services rendered according to the "Scope of Services" identified in the attached EXHIBIT 'W' <br /> Fee Schedule and Man Hours. <br /> A Not-to-Exceed Amount of: $ 12.489 . 50 to be paid on a unit price basis for actual work <br /> performed in accordance with the schedule of services and fees set forth in Exhibit A of <br /> RENEWAL OF THE ANNUAL GEOTECHNICAL SERVICES CONTRACT IRC PROJECT NO. <br /> 0534 WITH DUNKELBERGER EGINEERING & TESTING INC .
