INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT <br /> EAGLE TRACE SUBDIVISION, PHASE 2 and PHASE I REPLAT <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT BETWEEN W. F. MCCAIN & ASSOCIATES , INC . AND INDIAN RIVER <br /> COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) dated <br /> April 8 , 2008 between W . F . McCain & Associates , Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County <br /> ( COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section III — Scope of Services " and <br /> " Section V — Compensation" of the AGREEMENT . <br /> Amendment Description <br /> " SECTION III - SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The ENGINEER agrees to perform professional engineering and related services in <br /> connection with the project as required and set forth in the following : <br /> ENGINEER shall provide additional engineering services associates with the assessment of <br /> damaged pavement sections in both Phases I Replat and Phase II of the Eagle Trace project <br /> not initially anticipated in the original contract scope . <br /> ENGINEER shall provide the necessary inspection services associated with ongoing <br /> roadway repair work outlined above not initially anticipated in the original contract scope . <br /> ENGINEER shall provide a final inspection and recertification of the Eagle Trace Phase <br /> Replat paving and drainage . <br /> " SECTION V — COMPENSATION " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered <br /> pursuant to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following : <br /> The basic compensation mutually agreed upon by the ENGINEER and the COUNTY is <br /> as follows : <br /> Task Labor Fee <br /> Lump Sum Fee <br /> Phase IReplat $ 1 , 127 . 00 <br /> Phase II $ 1 , 273 . 00 <br /> TOTAL $29400 . 00 <br /> C\Documents and SetlingsTinda MarvinTocal Settings\Temporary Internet Piles\01 ,K85 \Amendment No 1 McCain Agreement 03 - 10-09 . doc <br /> 1 <br />
