AMENDMENT AND EXTENSION TO <br /> WETLAND MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT <br /> This AMENDMENT AND EXTENSION TO WETLAND MAINTENANCE SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT ("Amendment') is entered into as of this 19th day of February 2008 (" Effective <br /> Date") , by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida <br /> ("County") and ECOTECH CONSULTANTS , INC . (" Consultant') . <br /> BACKGROUND RECITALS <br /> A. Effective May 1 , 2005 , the County and the Consultant entered into the WETLAND <br /> MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT ("Agreement') for the provision of wetlands <br /> maintenance services as set forth therein . <br /> B . Pursuant to paragraph 3 of the Agreement, the County may request that the Consultant perform <br /> additional services under the Agreement. <br /> C . Further, the County and the Consultant desire to extend the term of the Agreement as set forth <br /> in paragraph 6 . 1 for the first of the three (3) allowable renewals of one ( 1 ) year each . <br /> NOW THEREFORE , for good and valuable consideration , the receipt and sufficiency of <br /> which is hereby acknowledged , the parties agree as follows : <br /> 1 . The background recitals are true and correct, and form a material part of this Agreement. <br /> 2 . From and after the Effective Date of this Amendment , paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended <br /> to include the Services as more specifically set forth in Exhibit 1 , for the price set forth in Exhibit 1 . <br /> 3 . From and after the Effective Date of this Amendment, the term of this Agreement is extended <br /> though April 30 , 2009. <br /> 4 .
