AMENDMENT AND EXTENSION TO WETLAND MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT This AMENDMENT AND EXTENSION TO WETLAND MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT ("Amendment') is entered into as of this 19th day of February 2008 ("Effective Date"), by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Florida ("County") and ECOTECH CONSULTANTS, INC. ("Consultant'). BACKGROUND RECITALS A. Effective May 1, 2005, the County and the Consultant entered into the WETLAND MAINTENANCE SERVICES AGREEMENT ("Agreement') for the provision of wetlands maintenance services as set forth therein. B. Pursuant to paragraph 3 of the Agreement, the County may request that the Consultant perform additional services under the Agreement. C. Further, the County and the Consultant desire to extend the term of the Agreement as set forth in paragraph 6.1 for the first of the three (3) allowable renewals of one (1) year each. NOW THEREFORE, for good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties agree as follows: 1. The background recitals are true and correct, and form a material part of this Agreement. 2. From and after the Effective Date of this Amendment, paragraph 3 of the Agreement is amended to include the Services as more specifically set forth in Exhibit 1, for the price set forth in Exhibit 1. 3. From and after the Effective Date of this Amendment, the term of this Agreement is extended though April 30, 2009. 4. All remaining terms of the Agreement, not herein amended, shall remain in full force and effect.
