That the following described property be rezoned from R-1 <br />Single <br />Family Residence to C -1-A, Restricted Commercial a distance of.150 feet East <br />of the Old Dixie Highway from the South Boundary of the Fletcher property <br />described as follows: <br />The North One Acre of that part lying East of the Old Dixie <br />Highway of the following described property, to -wit: <br />Commencing at the NE corner of <br />12, Twp 33 S, Rge 39 E, thence <br />South 220 yards, thence West 7 <br />yard to p.o.b. <br />the SW 4 of the SW1 of Section. <br />run East 7.83 Chains; thence <br />.83 chains, thence North 220 <br />Northerly to the South Boundary of the following described.property: <br />Run West along Center Section line a distance of 805:2 feet, <br />thence S at an angle of 89° 57 Min. a distance of 730.2 feet <br />to p.o.b.; thence continue S at an angle of 89° 57 min. a <br />distance of 150 feet; thence run W 487.82 feet to East line <br />of Dixie Highway; thence run Northwesterly on Easterly line <br />of said Dixie Highway a distance of 159.2 feet; thence run <br />E a distance of 541.32 feet to point of beginning; Sec. 12, <br />Twp 33 S, Range 39 East. <br />and further, that rezoning of that portion lying West of the Florida East <br />Coast RR of the S of the SE ' of the SW of Section 28, Twp 31 S, <br />Rge. 39 East, Indian River County, Florida from C-1 Commercial District <br />to M-1 Industrial District. <br />The County Engineer that on the North Boundary of the Drainage <br />District and <br />flooded from <br />thing he can <br />immediately West of Lateral A, that Tram Road is being <br />flow wells being being left on, and asked if there is any - <br />do about causing the owners to cap the wells. The Board <br />told the Engineer to check with Sherman Smith on this. <br />The County Engineer presented a tentative Plat of Dixie Gardens, <br />Unit #3, Section 3 and stated that instead of running a boulevard street <br />between 5th Place S.W. and 5th Avenue S.W. and Lateral J and 8th Avenue, <br />as on the other plans, they wanted to put in a 70 foot Street on the North <br />side. Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and unanimously carried, that the tentative Plat of Dixie Gardens <br />we 0.K.ed as set forth above. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner <br />Macdonald and carried, authorizing the County Engineer to advertise for <br />bids for furniture and equipment for the new North wing of the Courthouse. <br />In compliance with the law the following named persons were selected <br />to serve on the Jury in Indian River County for the coming year. <br />
