SUBMITTALS <br /> PART 1 : GENERAL <br /> 1 . 01 DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS <br /> A. This Section specifies the general methods and requirements of submissions <br /> applicable to the following work-related submittals : Shop Drawings , Product <br /> Data, Samples , Construction Photographs , and Construction or Submittal <br /> Schedules . Additional general submission requirements are contained in the <br /> General Conditions . Detailed submittal requirements will be specified in the <br /> technical specifications sections . <br /> B . All submittals shall be clearly identified by reference to Specification Section, <br /> Paragraph, Drawing No . or Detail as applicable . Submittals shall be clear and <br /> legible and of sufficient size for sufficient presentation of data. <br /> 1 . 02 SHOP DRAWINGS , PRODUCT DATA, SAMPLES <br /> A . Shop Drawings <br /> 1 . Shop drawings , as defined in the General Conditions , and as specified in <br /> individual work Sections include, but are not necessarily limited to , <br /> custom-prepared data such as fabrication and erection/installation <br /> (working) drawings , scheduled information, setting diagrams , actual shop <br /> work manufacturing instructions, custom templates , special wiring <br /> diagrams , coordination drawings , individual system or equipment <br /> inspection and test reports including performance curves and <br /> certifications , as applicable to the Work. <br /> 2 . All shop drawings submitted by subcontractors for approval shall be sent <br /> directly to the CONTRACTOR for checking . The CONTRACTOR shall <br /> be responsible for their submission at the proper time so as to prevent <br /> delays in delivery of materials . <br /> 3 . The CONTRACTOR shall check all subcontractors ' shop drawings <br /> regarding measurements , size of members , materials, and details to satisfy <br /> himself that they conform to the intent of the Drawings and Specifications . <br /> Shop drawings found to be inaccurate or otherwise in error shall be <br /> returned to the subcontractors for correction before submission thereof. <br /> 4 . All details on shop drawings submitted for approval shall show clearly the <br /> relation of the various parts to the main members and lines of the <br /> structure, and where correct fabrication of the work depends upon field <br /> measurements , such measurements shall be made and noted on the <br /> drawings before being submitted for approval . <br /> 5 . Submittals for equipment specified under Divisions 02 , 03 and 11 and <br /> shall include a listing of all installations where identical or similar material <br /> has been installed and been in operation for a period of at least one year. <br /> B . Product Data <br /> 1 .
