Cannabis <br /> Marijuana Pot, Acapulco Gold, Grass, Reefer, Sinsemilla, Thai Sticks <br /> Tetrahydrocannabinol THC <br /> Hashish Hash <br /> Hashish Oil Hash Oil <br /> Definitions <br /> 1 . Alcohol means ethyl alcohol (ethanol) and includes a distilled spirit, wine, a malt <br /> beverage or an intoxicating liquor. For purposes of this policy, alcohol is considered to <br /> be a drug. Thus, any reference to drugs and/or drug testing includes alcohol and/or <br /> alcohol testing. <br /> 2 . Drugs means alcohol, an amphetamine, a cannabinoid, cocaine, phencyclidine (PCP), a <br /> hallucinogen (as earlier identified in Section 21 . 1 ), methaqualone, an opiate, a <br /> barbiturate, a benzodiazepine, a synthetic narcotic, or a metabolite of any of the <br /> substances listed in this policy. An employer may test an individual for any or all of such <br /> drugs. <br /> 3 . Job Applicant means a person who has applied for a special-risk or safety-sensitive <br /> position with the Employer. <br /> 4. Employee means an individual who works for the Employer on a full-time or part-time <br /> basis and receives salary, wages, or compensation. <br /> 5 . Drag Test. <br /> a. "Drug test" means any chemical, biological, or physical instrumental analysis <br /> administered by a laboratory certified by the United States Department of Health and <br /> Human Services (HHS) or licensed by the Agency for Health Care Administration <br /> (ARCA), for the purpose of determining the presence or absence of a drug or its <br /> metabolites. <br /> b. Drug testing may require the collection of blood, urine, breath, or saliva of an <br /> employee or job applicant. The Employer has the right to use more accurate, <br /> scientifically accepted methods which may be approved in the future by the FDA or <br /> AHCA as such technology becomes available in a cost-effective method. <br /> a "Initial drug test" means a sensitive, rapid, and reliable procedure to identify negative <br /> and presumptive positive specimens, using an immunoassay procedure or an <br /> equivalent, or a more accurate scientifically accepted method approved by the FDA <br /> or AHCA as such more accurate technology becomes available in a cost-effective <br /> form. <br /> d. "Chain of custody" refers to the methodology of tracking specified materials or <br /> substances for the purpose of maintaining control and accountability from initial <br /> collection to final disposition for all such materials or substances and providing <br /> 18 <br />
