ARTICLE 24 <br /> BEREAVEMENT LEAVE <br /> 24 . 01 Regular full time bargaining unit employees covered by this agreement shall be granted up to <br /> two shifts of leave with pay for death in their immediate family without charge to medical <br /> leave, annual leave , holiday time , or other accumulated time, subject to the terms of the <br /> applicable District Rules and Regulations . <br /> 24 . 02 For the purpose of this article, the immediate family shall consist of Spouse , Children and <br /> Step-Children, Parents and Step-Parents , Grandmother, Grandfather, Grandchildren, Brother, <br /> Sister, Mother- in-Law, Father-in-Law, Son-in-Law, Daughter-in-Law, Sister-in-Law, <br /> Brother- in-Law, Step-brother, Step - sister, or Legal Guardian of the bargaining unit <br /> employee . <br /> 24 . 03 Employees may be required to provide documentation supporting their request for <br /> bereavement leave . <br />
