The foregoing Notice was read by the Attorney and it was decided to <br />take them item by item. <br />Item #1- No one was present who wished to be heard. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and carried <br />that said property be rezoned from R-1, Single Family District to R -2-A, <br />Multiple Family District. <br />Item #2- No one was present who wished to be heard. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Hilton and carried, that <br />said property be rezoned from C -1-A, Restricted Commercial District, to <br />R-1, Single Family District. <br />Item #3. No one was present who wished to be heard. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Hamilton, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and carried, <br />that said property be rezoned from R -2-A, Multiple Family District to R-1, <br />Single Family District. <br />Item #4- No one present wished to be heard. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and carried, that said <br />property be rezoned from R-1, Single Family District to M-1, Industrial <br />District. <br />Item #5- Hazel Barber appeared before the Board and stated she would like <br />her property to be rezoned the same. After checking Mrs. Barber was in- <br />formed her property was already zoned for transient. Motion was made by <br />Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and carried, <br />that said property be rezoned from R-1, Single Family District, to R-3, <br />Transient District. <br />Item #6- No one present wished to be heard. Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell and carried, that said property <br />be rezoned from R-1 Single Family District, to C-1, Commercial District. <br />Item #7- John Charles Mitchell was recognized by the Chair and stated he <br />was representing 26 property owners who are all opposed to the rezoning. <br />The following were also heard opposing the zoning change: Lewis Gluckner, <br />Ed McKeon, Nelson Cunningham, Bev Mitchell, Angelo Sanchez, John Tippin, <br />Earl Groth, Stanley Griffis, Gail Templin, Lewis Gerbhardt. Mr. Samuel <br />R. Smith was then recognized and stated he was the one requesting the re- <br />
