The Deputy Clerk stated that the Blue Cross -Blue Shield was raising <br />their premiums on the plan that we now have and they are also offering <br />an additional "K" Plan on the Blue Shield which would be an additional raise. <br />The Board requested that the Deputy Clerk check with all subscribers of <br />the Blue Cross -Blue Shield Plan to see which the majority wanted. <br />•A letter was received from Mrs. Rudy Hubbard, Member, District 10, <br />State Welfare Board requesting that the Board pay for the rent of a telephone <br />for their office as their state appropriation had been cut. Motion was <br />made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner McCullers and carried, <br />that the rent for a phone for the State Welfare Board would be paid by'the <br />Board but no toll charges would be paid for. <br />A letter was read from Charles A. Sullivan, Judge Small Claims Court <br />requesting he be allowed to purchase certain equipment for his office <br />in the amount. of $572.85. The Board stated since it would amount to over <br />$500.00 that he should advertise for bids for same. <br />A report was read from the Florida Baird of Forestry and ordered filed. <br />A letter was read from W. J. Raschach, President of Tropicolony, Inc. <br />regarding a dump on South Gifford Road and said letter was ordered filed. <br />The several bills and accounts against the County, having been audited, <br />were examined and found correct, were approved and warrants issued in <br />settlement of same. Such bills and accounts being on file in the office <br />of the Clerk of the Circuit Court, the warrants so issued from the respective <br />funds being listed in the supplemental Minute Book as provided by the rules <br />of the State Auditor, reference to such record and the list so recorded <br />being made a part of these minutes. <br />The County Depositories filed their monthly statement, showing receipts <br />and disbursements of the various funds, which have been audited and found to <br />be correct. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and carried, <br />the Board then adjourned. <br />
