was received and ordered filed (Note see County Commissioners <br />Minute Book 7, page 348). <br />Ed Schmucker requested the Board to approve painting <br />of the interior, to be done by persons from the Jail, and change <br />of two partitions of the Health Department, also permission to <br />build cabinets for Rosemary Richey's office. Upon Motion made by <br />Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by Commissioner Waddell, and <br />unanimously carried, the same was approved. <br />Ed Schmucker asked that he and/or Aubrey Waddell be <br />given approval to attend the Zoning Conference to be held December <br />6, 7, 8 and 9 in Tampa. Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, <br />seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and unanimously carried, for <br />Aubrey Waddell and Ed Schmucker to attend. <br />Mr. Thomas Thompson, Janitor, appeared before the Board <br />and asked to take over the Courthouselawn care, including the <br />two buildings and property recently acquired by the County from <br />Raible, for the sum of $40.00 per month. Upon Motion made by <br />Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald and <br />unanimously carried, the request was granted, effective January 1, <br />1962. <br />Upon Motion made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by <br />Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously carried, Ed Schmucker was <br />requested to make requisition to the State Road Department for <br />traffic survey of Route 60 in the Westgate Colony area. <br />The County Attorney read the recommendations of the <br />Planning and Zoning Board that a public hearing be held before <br />this Board on the following: <br />That the Zoning Map be changed in order that the fol- <br />lowing described property, situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />That part of Indian River County, Florida, lying <br />South of North Winter Beach Road, North of North <br />Gifford Road, East of the right-of-way of the <br />Florida East Coast Railway and West of the <br />centerline of new U.
