M . Engineering and Testing , Inc . is pleased to submit this proposal <br /> to <br /> construct monitor wells at the referenced project . We understand that up to 4 wells will <br /> be <br /> needed with maximum depths of 20 feet . Our licensed well driller would obtain the Indian River <br /> County well permits and submit the well completion reports to the applicable agencies . The wells <br /> would be constructed and developed per the project specifications . The following describes a <br /> typical well construction and the prices below would apply to that construction or minor <br /> modifications . <br /> • Hollow- stem auger method <br /> • Outside diameter of borehole : 6 - inches <br /> • Well casing and screen : 2 - inch schedule 40 PVC with l0 -slot screened section — length of <br /> screened section to be specified <br /> Screened section annular space will be filled with 20- 30 silica sand . <br /> • Annular space above casing will be filled with neat cement grout . <br /> • Well would be developed by pumping until water is clear. <br /> • Well will be finished with 4 - inch diameter aluminum protective casing or schedule 80 <br /> steel pipe imbedded into the grout approximately 2 feet below ground surface and <br /> extending approximately 3 feet above ground surface and will have a locking aluminum <br /> cap . <br /> Mobilization/demobilization for project <br /> Includes initial site visit, time to obtain permits , and pick up <br /> and deliver supplies and equipment to the site . Lump Sum $400 <br /> Per Well Price <br /> Permit fee 75 <br /> Equipment and Labor to Construct and Develop Well 11200 <br /> Total per well $ 1 , 275 <br />
