Mehta, P.E. <br />Managing Director <br />Solid Waste Disposal District <br />Indian River County <br />1325 74°i Avenue SW <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32968 <br />Subject: Revised Proposal to Provide Compliance Monitoring Reporting <br />and Other Technical Support Services <br />Class I Landfill and C&D Debris Disposal Facility <br />Indian River County Landfill Facility <br />Vero Beach, Indian River County, Florida <br />Dear Mr. Mehta: <br />Geosyntec Consultants (Geosyntec) is pleased to submit this letter proposal to the Indian River <br />County (IRC) Solid Waste Disposal District (SWDD) for the provision of professional services <br />supporting the operation of the Class I landfill and Construction and Demolition (C&D) debris <br />disposal facility at the IRC Landfill (IRCL) facility located in Vero Beach, Indian River County, <br />Florida. The proposal presents the scope of work, schedule, and budget estimate for the <br />compliance monitoring reporting and other technical support services related to the operation of <br />the solid waste disposal facilities during the fiscal year (FY) 2007-2008. The proposal was <br />prepared in response to a verbal request from the SWDD during a 2 August 2007 meeting at the <br />IRCL site with Mr. Himanshu Mehta, P.E. of SWDD and Dr. Kwasi Badu-Tweneboah, P.E. of <br />Geosyntec. Geosyntec has prepared this proposal (professional services in Attachment 1) under <br />Work Order No. 14 for the Continuing Contract Agreement for Professional Services between <br />IRC SWDD and Geosyntec, dated 10 August 2004 and renewed 1 I August 2007. <br />The remainder of this proposal presents: (i) project background; (ii) proposed scope of work; <br />(iii) budget estimate; and (iv) schedule. <br />PROJECT BACKGROUND <br />The IRCL facility is located south of Oslo Road, west <br />of Range Line Road (74°i Avenue) and <br />east of Interstate 95 <br />in Section 25, Township 33 South, <br />Range 38 East in <br />Indian River County, <br />Florida.
