GeOSynte& <br />2 January 2008 consultants <br />Page 5 <br />Task 5 — Interim Source Removal Report <br />An ISR Report will be prepared upon completion of the excavation activities. The ISR report <br />will provide details of the excavation implementation activities, soil and groundwater disposal <br />documentation, excavation details, and will include photographs documenting the ISR <br />implementation. A draft copy of the ISR Report will be submitted to IRC for review. Upon IRC <br />approval, the final ISR Report will be signed and sealed by the Florida Licensed P.E. in <br />responsible charge of the project and will be submitted to IRC and the FDEP. <br />ASSUMPTIONS <br />The following assumptions were made in developing this fee proposal: <br />• No permits will be required for the removal of trees that are located within the general <br />excavation area. <br />• Excavated soil, dipping vat concrete, and trees/brush will be transported to the IRC Class <br />I landfill for disposal as non -hazardous waste. Costs for disposal at the IRC Landfill are <br />the responsibility of IRC. <br />• Extracted groundwater (up to 7,000 gallons) will be disposed of at an industrial <br />wastewater facility in Jacksonville, Florida as non -hazardous waste. Costs for <br />transportation and disposal of groundwater are included in this proposal. <br />• IRC staff will sign/execute all waste disposal manifests. <br />• All site work can be performed in Level D personal protective equipment. <br />• Geosyntee will be able to work unimpeded between Monday and Friday from 7 am - 7 <br />pm. <br />ESTIMATED BUDGET <br />The fee proposal is provided as Exhibit 2. <br />XR07084/CCR08003.DOC <br />engineers scientists I mnu\aturs <br />
