The Property Appraiser currently has <br /> an internet application that is being used to host GIS data ; however, a more sophisticated <br /> browser that handles custom queries is being investigated . In addition , the county wide <br /> browser should have the ability to incorporate data from the various departments as <br /> opposed to tax data alone . A description of recommended GIS data browser solutions is <br /> provided in the Enterprise-wide Applications section of this chapter. <br /> —" ArcGIS 9 <br /> In the long term , it is recommended that the Public Works Department maintain a total of <br /> four licenses of ArcGIS , including the existing license maintained in Engineering .
