County GIS Vertical Control Mapping EXHIBIT A Indian River County Benchmark Database - Update Scope o1' Services GlobalMind will update approximately eleven hundred (1100)2eodetic vertical control points (benehnarksi throughout Indian River County previously im'entoried and compiled into a Geographic Information System which facilitates efficient staff and public access to the benchmark data Due to a recent adjustment performed by the National Creodetc Survey, the benchmark information now maintained does not conform to the new adjustment. GlobalMind win also add apptaaimately one hundred (I06) new benchmarks established by Indian River County and povidle training to County staff. GlobalMind will complete the following work items: 1. Update the Benchmark Danasheets with dee following information and creak entries for de newly established benchmarks: • Benchmark Designation • Range • NAVD 88 Elevation (ft) • Quad Now • NGVD 2_9 Elevation aft) • Field Book & Page • Vertical Order • To Reach Description of available) • Section • Horizontal Coordinates • Township 2. Update the ANGIS geodatabase with readjusted elevations forcreating benchmark datasheets. Add the newly established tenchnnrks to the geodatabase. 3. Create a book containing the revised Benchmark Datasheets. Th bookwill contain an index by PLS S sectioNtownshiprrange and an index byroad name. Fifteen ( I5) of the books will be created for the County. The book will also contain nap steels showing the locations of )he benchmarks, along with line%ork for roads, subdivisions and PLSS. A separate sleeve in the book will contain a pocket for a CD with the datasleets, database, interactive AscReader map, installation files and PDF naps. Tie ArcReader map will have accompanying encrypted file geodatabasa for distribution. 4. Prepare training materials and provide a half-day training session to Indian River County staff on crap mainsamo ce. updating and other important topics related m their internal use and upkeep of the project deliverables. The county will panne the following items to GlobaDdind: I. Excel spreadsheets containing data for point names, NAVD BS elevations. NGVD 29 elevations, descriptions and Feld book and page numbers for the Indian River County Vertical Control Benchmarks— including new benchmarks not included in Work Order 3. _. AutoCAD drawing in DWG format that contains all of this benchmarks to to compiled in this project. The benchmarks will be in point formal with the benchmark designation being a point attribute. The fee for these services shall be Fight Thousand Five Hundred ($8.500) dollars. GlobalMind will deliver one sat of deliverables 3 weeks after receipt of the notice of commencement. Indian River County will have 30 days to respond with comments to the initial submit. Upon receipt of the comments.
