Children in Centers Children's Services Advisory Committee <br /> MEASURABLE OUTCOMES (Entire Section D not to exceed two pages) <br /> OUTCOMES ACTIVITIES <br /> Add all of the elements or the Measurable Outcome(s) Add the tasks to accom fish the Outcome(s) <br /> 1 . 85 % of children enrolled in the CCCR program 1 . The center will provide and maintain the <br /> a minimum of one year, will enter Kindergarten appropriate equipment and supplies. <br /> having acquired school readiness skills, as 2 . The teacher will implement the CCCR <br /> measured by : Speed Dial R, and Devereaux Early approved curriculum. <br /> Childhood Assessment (DECA) post-tests, 3 . The Speed Dial R and DECA screening <br /> Kindergarten Transition Form, and promotion instruments will be administered to all <br /> rates through 3 `d grade. Baseline : Speed Dial R, preschool children in the fall of 2004 and <br /> DECA pre-tests and Ages and Stages . spring of 2005 . The Speed Dial R measures <br /> cognitive development; the DECA measures <br /> social/emotional development. The "Ages <br /> and Stages" Developmental Assessment will <br /> be administered to infant and toddlers early <br /> fall of 2005 . They will be re-assessed every 9 <br /> months, or at the time they transition into <br /> preschool program, whichever comes first. <br /> 4 . Children ' s promotion rates will be tracked <br /> through 3 `d grade . <br /> 5 . The Pre-Kindergarten Transition Form will be <br /> completed by center teachers, and given to the <br /> CCCR Family Resource Coordinator (FRC) . <br /> 2 . To maintain quality in CCCR centers during the 1 . Teacher to student ratios will be : 1 :4 (birth- <br /> 2004-2005 school year as measured by : 12 months), 1 : 6 ( 13 -24 months), 1 : 8 (25 -36 <br /> teacher : student ratios, staff salary, staff turnover, months , and 1 : 10 (37 months-Kindergarten) . <br /> and staff in-service training hours, teacher Ratios will be monitored by the Family <br /> certifications and center accreditations . Baseline Resource coordinator through unannounced <br /> 2003 -2004 teachenstudent ratios , staff salary, staff site visits . <br /> turnover and staff in-service hours charts . Present 2 . Center Directors will provide in writing to <br /> certifications and accreditations . the Executive Director the hourly wage of <br /> each teacher on staff, and staff turnover, prior <br /> to the start of the funding year. <br /> 3 . CCCR will provide at least three training <br /> opportunities for center staff. Center <br /> Directors will provide a minimum of two <br /> training opportunity for their staff. Pre and <br /> post tests will be administered at local events <br /> to ascertain the productivity of the event. <br /> 4 . All center teachers will obtain the 40-hour <br /> certificate in early childhood education <br /> before working in the classroom. All lead <br /> teachers will obtain their CDA certificate <br /> before working in the classroom . CCCR will <br /> be provided copies of all certificates from <br /> 8 <br />
