O . P .E. Academy will increase attendance by <br /> students by 40% for the 2005 -2006 school year having the school administration give a <br /> and documented by the School District brochure about H . O .P . E. Academy to each <br /> Informational Services . suspended student ' s parent, give presentations <br /> at PTA and SAC meetings and at Student <br /> Orientation days . In addition H . O . P .E . <br /> Academy will have a mass mail out of <br /> brochures or "Just in Case" letters to Indian <br /> River County parents . We will continue with <br /> two classrooms ; each accommodating up to <br /> 10- 12 students . <br /> OUTCOME #2 ACTIVITY #2 <br /> In 05 -06 school year 87 % of students attending Teachers will log all assignments brought by <br /> H. O .P.E . Academy for the 2005 -2006 school the student to H . O .P .E . Academy and <br /> year will return to school with their supervise each student to assure assignments <br /> assignments completed. are completed. At the end of the student ' s <br /> suspension the Administrative Director will <br /> review assignments and document the <br /> percentage of assignments completed (50 % - <br /> 100%) . The student and parent will sign the <br /> document before the student exits the program <br /> (see attachment 4) . <br /> OUTCOME #3 ACTIVITY #3 <br /> 65 % of students will return to school with H . O . P.E. Academy will provide a pre-test <br /> improved anger management skills for the administered immediately following their <br /> 2005 -2006 . enrollment. A License counselor will conduct <br /> daily Rap Sessions to address issues related to <br /> behavior modification and life management <br /> skills . On the student ' s final day a post test <br /> will be administered to determine the student ' s <br /> knowledge of anger management and conflict <br /> resolution skills (see attachment 5 ) . <br /> OUTCOME #4 ACTIVITY #4 <br /> Maintain the recidivism (re-suspension) rate at Students will attend class Rap Sessions that <br /> less than 25 % % for the 2005 -2006 school year focuses on Anger Management , Good Choices <br /> as recorded by the School District vs . Bad Choices and Conflict Resolution Skills <br /> Informational Services . (see attachment 2) . <br /> 9 <br />
