BOOK 7 Mi;(.1i52 <br />The County Engineer stated that he had been out to Wallace Acres <br />subdivision and that Mr. Wallace had complied with all plat regulations <br />except for a through street and that the adjoining property owner did <br />not object to this and requested the Board to tentatively approve the <br />plat for recording in the Plat record book in the Clerk's office. The <br />same has been recorded in Official Record Book 119 page 276 as a sketch <br />of information. Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner Waddell and unanimously carried, that a tentative plat of <br />Wallace Acres as set forth in Official Record Book 119, page 276, public <br />records of Indian River County, Florida, be and the same is herewith <br />approved. <br />The County Engineer presented a Petition from Mr. DeKold with <br />signatures of the various property owners, requesting the county to <br />extend Rosedale and Glendale Roads to Lateral D4. The Chairman stated <br />that the first step would be to secure right-of-way and that at such time <br />that he had the time and funds further action could be taken. <br />Gladys Vigliano, County Welfare worker, gave a brief oral report <br />of her activities for the month of March and filed a written report report <br />with the Board for the month. <br />The County Engineer presented a letter of resignation from John <br />W. Massey, member of the Indian River County Planning and Zoning Board <br />of Adjustment. The Chairman suggested that the County Engineer contact <br />Ed Massey and see if he would fill the vacancy and if so1submit his name <br />torthe Governor for appointment and if not to submit the name of Earl <br />Groth. <br />The County Engineer stated that the Planning and Zoning Board <br />had tentatively approved a zoning change on Lots 1 to 13, both inclusive <br />Block A, Lakewood Terrace.Subd&yision Unit #1., from C-1, single family <br />to R -2-A Multiple family. Upon Motion made by Commissioner Macdonald, <br />Seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously carried, the zoning <br />change was tentatively approved, subject to public hearing. <br />Ed Carter, E►$sneer, appeared before the Board and requested the <br />fnllwriis� <br />described p r.ps _ t o , bi included in the _ County's notice for <br />
