r <br />SECTION 00520 - Agreement (Public Works) <br />` THIS AGREEMENT is by and between INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, a Political Subdivision of the <br />State of Florida organized and existing under the Laws of the State of Florida, (hereinafter called <br />OWNER) <br />r 11II t 1 - <br />and <br />Loc. <br />hi �S Cr�nTfaCtlllG .. oc. <br />(hereinafter called CONTRACTOR). <br />r <br />OWNER and CONTRACTOR, in consideration of the mutual covenants hereinafter set forth, <br />agree as follows: <br />r <br />ARTICLE 1 - WORK <br />1.01 CONTRACTOR shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract <br />Documents. The Work is generally described as follows: <br />r The project will consist of the widening of approximately two miles of County Road 512 <br />to a four lane divided highway between 10e Avenue and 1800 feet west of County <br />Road 510. Also included will be the installation of a new mast arm traffic signal at the <br />,. intersection of (CR 512 & 1081h Avenue), the replacement of two existing span wire <br />traffic signals with new mast arm traffic signals at the intersections of CR 512/101s' <br />Avenue and CR 512 & the Sebastian River Middle School driveway, the construction of <br />retention ponds, landscaping and irrigation. <br />ARTICLE 2 - THE PROJECT <br />` 2.01 The Project for which the Work under the Contract Documents may be the whole or only a <br />part is generally described as follows: <br />to Project Name: CR 512, PHASE IV ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS <br />County Project Number: 9611 <br />Project Address: CR 512 (108th Avenue to 1800 feet west of CR 510) <br />No <br />ARTICLE 3 — ENGINEER <br />r <br />3.01 The Indian River County Public Works Department is hereinafter called the ENGINEER <br />and will act as OWNER's representative, assume all duties and responsibilities, and have <br />r the rights and authority assigned to ENGINEER in the Contract Documents in connection <br />with the completion of the Work in accordance with the Contract Documents. <br />ARTICLE 4 - CONTRACT TIMES <br />4.01 Time of the Essence <br />A.
