.-ARTICLE IX - :ADVISORY COliNCIL <br /> An Advisory Council shall be established having membership of not less than five r <br /> more than twelve ( 12) members . The Advisory Council shall include the current Chairman , the <br /> immediate past - Chairman ( if applicable and available) , and such other requested people of the <br /> public community who have stated an interest in the purpose of the organization and have <br /> expressed a willingness to work with and support the organization . Ideally , these advisors will be <br /> from diverse backgrounds appropriate to the activities of the organization . Individually and <br /> collectively they will be available to the Chairman and Executive Director for advice and guidance <br /> on activities the corporation may be considering or have in operation . They may serve as long as <br /> i <br /> they choose , not to exceed five ( 5 ) consecutive years . It shall be the responsibility of the current <br /> Chairman of the corporation to determine the adequateness of the Advisory Council and to recruit <br /> new advisors when appropriate . <br /> ARTICLE X <br /> CONTRACTS , CHECKS DEPOSITS AND FUNDS <br /> Section 1 - Contracts <br /> The Board of Directors may authorize any officer or officers , agent or agents of the <br /> corporation , in addition to the officers so authorized by these Bylaws , to enter into any contract <br /> or execute and deliver any instrument in the name of and on behalf of the corporation , and such <br /> authority may be general or confined to specific instances . <br /> Section 2 - Checks , Drafts , Etc . <br /> All checks , drafts , or orders for the payment of money , notes or other evidences of <br /> indebtedness issued in the name of the corporation shall be signed by such officer or officers , <br /> agent or agents , of the corporation and in such manner as shall from time to time be determined <br /> by resolution of the Board of Directors . In the absence of such determination by the Board of <br /> - 14 . <br />
