SECTION 01410 <br /> TESTING LABORATORY SERVICES <br /> 1 . 1 GENERAL <br /> A . If necessary for this project, the OWNER will employ and pay an for independent <br /> p <br /> testing laboratory to perform the specified services . The testing laboratory shall <br /> ' be : <br /> AM Engineering & Testing , Inc . <br /> Contact person = David Aucker <br /> Telephone number = (772 ) 567-6167 . <br /> Even though the OWNER is hiring the testing laboratory, the CONTRACTOR shall <br /> schedule and order all required testing services . , <br /> ' B . Inspection , sampling and testingshall be as specified in the individual Sectio <br /> p ns . <br /> ' C . The OWNER will pay for the testing except for repeat testing due to test results <br /> failing to meet the Specification requirements . <br /> tD . CONTRACTOR shall pay for: <br /> 1 . Tests made for the CONTRACTOR's convenience . <br /> 2 . Repeat tests required due to failure to meet Specification requirements . <br /> ' E . The testinglaboratory is not authorized to <br /> ry approve or accept any portion of the <br /> Work ; rescind , alter or augment the requirements of the Contract Documents ; or <br /> perform any duties of the CONTRACTOR . <br /> 1 . 2 CONTRACTOR' S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> A . Cooperate with <br /> p laboratory personnel , provide access to Work and to <br /> ' manufacturer's operations . <br /> B . Provide to laboratory, preliminary representative samples of materials to be tested , <br /> ' in required quantities . <br /> C . Furnish copies of product test reports . <br /> ' D . Provide to the laboratory the preliminary design mix proposed for concrete , and <br /> other material mixes that require testing by the testing laboratory. <br /> ' E . Furnish labor and facilities : <br /> 1 .
