Each bid shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall bear the name and <br /> address of the bidder on the outside and the words " HARMONY OAKS MITIGATION <br /> PROJECT. " All bids , either mailed or walked in , will be received by the Purchasing Division , <br /> 2625 19th Avenue , Vero Beach , Florida , where they will be opened publicly and read aloud at <br /> 2 : 00 PM . All bids received after 2 : 00 P . M . , of the day specified above , will be <br /> returned <br /> unopened. <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. 9219A <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY BID NO. 6045 <br /> ' PROJECT DESCRIPTION. The selected CONTRACTOR shall mechanically clear, grub , and <br /> regrade approximately 4 . 98 acres for wetland restoration and <br /> selectively hand clear approximately 2 . 08 acres for wetland <br /> enhancement. The CONTRACTOR shall also replant the <br /> restoration and enhancement areas and maintain the plantings for <br /> a period of five years after acceptance by the County. <br /> All material and equipment furnished and all work performed shall be in strict accordance <br /> with the plans , specifications , and contract documents pertaining thereto , which may be <br /> ' obtained from the Indian River County Division of Public Works , 1840 25th Street , Vero Beach , <br /> Florida 32960 . Copies of the plans and specifications containing the necessary contract <br /> documents may be obtained by deposit of a check made payable to Indian River County, <br /> ' in the amount of $ 100 for each set, which represents cost of printing, handling, and <br /> mailing and which is non refundable. <br /> All bids shall be submitted in duplicate on the Bid Proposal forms provided within the <br /> ' specifications . A BID BOND must accompany each Bid , and be properly executed by the <br /> Bidder and by a qualified surety, or certified check or cashier's check on any bank authorized to <br /> do business in the State of Florida , in the sum of not less than Five Percent ( 5%) of the total <br /> ' amount bid , made payable to Indian River County Board of County Commissioners .
