Contingencies $6,500.00 <br />A letter was received from the Fort Pierce Memorial Hospital <br />regarding the charges for Indigent Hospitalization. It was referred to <br />Dr. Flood. <br />A letter was read from the Pilot Club of Indian River County, who <br />in cooperation with the law enforcement agencies of the County have in- <br />stituted a program to encourage Safety on the Highways for the month of <br />September. Motion was made by Commissioner Macdonald, seconded by <br />Commissioner McCullers, and unanimously carried, that the Board endorse <br />thi$ program. <br />The County Attorney reminded the Board of a letter from'the*Flor,ida <br />Development Commission informing them that there was approximately $5,000.00 <br />availab14- to the County for "aviation use". He stated that "aviation use" <br />was anything;thit had to do.with aviation and that the Florida Development <br />Commission would.have to know what the money would be used for, before the <br />money would be relaased.. After some discussion, the Board.decided that <br />they would like'to..hear from the City. of .Vero Beach and the City of <br />Seirsat as as .t� y, *odd uss #e X0Vki7 €or and distribute the money <br />V <br />mails , "Comty 4takney was to so inform the two cities. <br />
