For each of the laws listed below, the recipient should : <br /> a) review the summary of that law and make a preliminary determination of its <br /> applicability to the project, and <br /> b) for each law determined to be applicable, or even potentially applicable, consult with <br /> the appropriate Agency contact relative to environmental effects , permits or mitigation <br /> Actions required . <br /> A record of this review and consultation must be placed in the recipient' s Environmental <br /> Review Record documentation, in the form of letters , telephone logs or other evidence of <br /> coordination, must be available for review. <br /> This checklist is designed to simplify these review procedures .
