em 7 PAGE 758 <br />The County Engineer, after tabulating the bids received on Item #7, <br />reported that Culvert Manufacturing Company was apparent low bidder. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner McCullers, seconded by Commissioner Mac- <br />donald and unanimously carried that the bid of Culvert Manufacturing Company <br />be accepted, for item #7. <br />The County Engineer, after tabulating the bids received on Item #3B <br />through #3K, reported that Koppers Company, Inc. was apparent low bidder. <br />Motion was made by Commissioner Waddell, seconded by Commissioner Macdonald, <br />and unanimously carried, that the bid of Koppers Company, Inc. be accepted. - <br />In regard to the acceptance of the bids of Ideal Crushed Stone, Inc., <br />on Items #4 and #5, Ed Schmucker, County Engineer reported to the Board <br />that he called the FEC Railway Station and that the freight rate on a <br />load of building material is $1.51 per .ton loaded FEC Station, Miami, <br />providing the value of the material does not exceed $4.00 per ton. <br />There being no further business, on motion made, seconded and <br />carried, the Board then adjourned. <br />
