For impact fee purposes , revenue projections serve only as an overall guideline in <br /> planning future infrastructure needs . In their simplest form, impact fees charge each unit <br /> of new growth for the net cost (total cost less credits) of infrastructure needed to serve <br /> that unit of growth. If the growth rates remain high, the County will have more impact <br /> fee revenues to fund growth related projects sooner rather than later.
