RECEIVED q - 4- 67 <br /> 7Z . <br /> INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT SEP 17 2007 c 7 - a 76 <br /> THIS INTERAGENCY AGREEMENT ("Agreement") is entered into by and between the <br /> DEPARTMENT OF JUVENILE JUSTICE ("Department") and INDIAN RIVER COUNTY ("County") . <br /> WHEREAS , the 2004 Legislature enacted section 985 .2155, Florida Statutes (recently <br /> renumbered to section 985. 686) , requiring that costs of juvenile detention prior to disposition be a joint <br /> obligation of the State of Florida and the County; and <br /> WHEREAS , Chapter 985 of the Florida Statutes requires that certain information concerning <br /> juveniles remain confidential ; <br /> NOW , THEREFORE, in consideration of the following premises, the parties do hereby <br /> covenant and agree to the following : <br /> 1 . The Department agrees to share juvenile information , including , but not limited to a juvenile's <br /> name, home address, and the name and address of a juvenile's parent or guardian , with the County <br /> for purposes of determining and verifying a juvenile's county of residency. <br /> 2 . All information transmitted from the Department to the County that has been determined to be <br /> confidential shall remain confidential unless otherwise subject to Chapter 119 , Florida Statutes. <br /> 3 . Modification of this Agreement shall be made only by the consent of both parties and shall <br /> include a written document setting forth the modifications and signed by both parties . This Agreement <br /> may be terminated with 30 days' written notice to the other party. <br /> 4.
