APPENDIX ' C ' <br /> SCHOOL SITE SELECTION FLOW CHART <br /> School Board identifies need for a new school and directs the School Board <br /> Site Selection Committee (SBSSC) to conduct a search for a new school site . <br /> Once one or more potential sites are identified, the SBSSC then directs the <br /> School District Director of Facilities Planning and Construction to provide a <br /> site or a list of potential sites to the SPTAC . <br /> Multiple Potential Sites 11 <br /> Single Site <br /> Within 14 days, the School Planning <br /> Technical Advisory Committee (SPTAC) <br /> meets to review the potential school sites . <br /> 1 <br /> Within 30 days after the SPTAC meeting, the <br /> SPTAC prepares an initial evaluation report for <br /> each potential site, reviews sites for consistency <br /> with local comprehensive plans, submits reports <br /> to the School Board Site Selection Committee <br /> ( SBSSC). <br /> 1 Within 14 days, the SPTAC prepares Impact <br /> Assessment Statement (IAS) and Economic <br /> The SBSSC develops a short Analysis (EA) for site(s).
