ARTICLE VI MONITORING <br /> SUBRECIPIENT shall monitor its performance under this Agreement, as well as that of its <br /> subcontractors and/or consultants who are paid from funds provided under this Agreement, to <br /> ensure that time schedules are being met, the Schedule of Deliverables and Scope of Work are <br /> being accomplished within the specified time periods, and other performance goals are being <br /> achieved. A review shall be done for each strategy, activity, and use included in Appendix E to <br /> this Agreement, and reported in the monthly report. <br /> In addition to reviews of audits conducted in accordance with Article (5 ), above, monitoring <br /> procedures may include, but not be limited to, on-site visits by DEPARTMENT staff or <br /> COUNTY staff, limited scope audits, and/or other procedures. SUBRECIPIENT agrees to <br /> comply and cooperate with any monitoring procedures/processes deemed appropriate by <br /> DEPARTMENT and/or COUNTY. In the event that DEPARTMENT and/or COUNTY <br /> determines that a limited scope audit of SUBRECIPIENT is appropriate, SUBRECIPIENT <br /> agrees to comply with any additional instructions provided by DEPARTMENT and/or COUNTY <br /> to SUBRECIPIENT regarding such audit. SUBRECIPIENT further agrees to comply and <br /> cooperate with any inspections, reviews, investigations or audits deemed necessary by the <br /> Florida Chief Financial Officer or Auditor General . In addition, DEPARTMENT and/or <br /> COUNTY will monitor the performance and financial management by SUBRECIPIENT <br /> throughout the contract term to ensure timely completion of all tasks . <br /> ARTICLE VII — AGREEMENT PERIOD AND TERMINATION <br /> 7 . 1 Period of Agreement <br /> This Agreement shall take effect upon execution by both parties, and shall end upon <br /> termination of the Agreement between COUNTY and DEPARTMENT for NSP Program <br /> Contract # 10DB-4X- 10-40-01 -F13 , unless terminated earlier in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Paragraph (7 . 2) below. <br /> 7 . 2 SUSPENSION AND TERMINATION FOR CONVENIENCE : <br /> A. If SUBRECIPIENT should materially fail to comply with any term of the award, <br /> suspension or termination may occur in accordance with 24 CFR 85 .43 and in <br /> accordance with 24 CFR 85 .44. In the event that funds are not provided to <br /> COUNTY by DEPARTMENT, then COUNTY may terminate this Agreement <br /> immediately. <br /> Be Remedies for Non-compliance : If SUBRECIPIENT materially fails to comply <br /> with any term of an award whether stated in a Federal Statute or regulation, an <br /> assurance, in a state plan or application, a notice of award, or elsewhere, <br /> COUNTY may take one ( 1 ) or more of the following actions as appropriate in the <br /> circumstances : <br /> 9 <br />
