Lucie County campus . <br /> r�r <br /> Other Library Services <br /> irr <br /> Marian Fell Library, Fellsmere <br /> The Marian Fell Library located across from the public elementary school in Fellsmere is <br /> operated by the Fellsmere Library Association and is run by volunteers . The service <br /> .. consists of an after-school homework help program for elementary school aged children . <br /> It is a limited service housed in a very small building . Twelve to fifteen children are <br /> served three afternoons a week from 2 : 00 — 4 : 00 PM . Computers with Internet connection <br /> •■ and a small collection of print items are available . <br /> This service was managed by the North IRC Library in the past ; one county staff member <br /> kept it open twenty hours a week. The county turned management back over to the <br /> Association because use was so limited and the new North IRC library facility opened . <br /> The association Board has gifted the building and grounds to the Indian River Historic <br /> Society. That organization will continue its use as deemed appropriate . <br /> Operation Hope, Fellsmere <br /> Operation Hope, a Palm Bay, Florida based non-profit community charity, is opening a <br /> library in the fall of 2004 at their expanded location in Fellsmere . The library will have a <br /> computer lab with Internet access (up to sixteen computers) and a circulating collection <br /> that will be primarily children ' s books . The library will be available to all community <br /> members for free . Operation Hope focuses on migrant workers and their families and <br /> provides educational services at six sites in Florida . <br /> Vero Beach Museum of Art <br /> " The Stone Library in the Vero Beach Museum of Art has over 5 , 250 items in print and <br /> audio visual formats on art related topics , including a Film Studies Collection . It is a <br /> circulating collection available to museum members , art school faculty, docents , and <br /> museum staff. <br /> Environmental Learning Center <br /> The Learning Center, a non-profit organization located in Wabasso , is a private non- <br /> profit education center. It has a library of approximately 1 , 800 items , mainly on natural <br /> science topics , including some video and audio tapes . The Center has a small children ' s <br /> library . Materials there are also focused on natural science .
