St. Helen ' s Catholic School has a student population of around 300 ; <br /> �■ St . Edward ' s School enrolls about 850 students in its three schools . <br /> • Charter schools — 4 schools . Together they had enrollments for 2003 -04 of 722 <br /> students . <br /> ilrr <br /> ■ Higher Education <br /> • Community college — Indian River Community College , Mueller Campus is a <br /> branch of a larger community college program based in Fort Pierce ( St . Lucie <br /> County) . At present the Mueller campus has two , single story classroom buildings <br /> and the Richardson Center — a conference/meeting center — on its site . Local <br /> students can also attend classes at IRCC sites in Fort Pierce , Okeechobee , Stuart , <br /> and Port St . Lucie . IRCC reports that there were 7 , 000 registrations of Indian <br /> River County residents during 2003 -04 (includes duplicate registrations by the <br /> same individuals) . According to the Campus Provost, an estimated two-thirds of <br /> those used the Mueller Campus . <br /> University <br /> o University of Florida Medical Entomology Laboratory — current planning <br /> anticipates around seven graduate students doing research at the laboratory at <br /> any one time <br /> o Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton (Palm Beach County) — FAU is the <br /> closest university that offers a wide array of programs of study at all levels of <br /> matriculation . FAU has a closer program in Port St . Lucie ( St . Lucie County) , <br /> the Treasure Coast Campus .
