8 ra,. 98 <br />for requiring the same to be retained for right-of-ways or streets; the <br />property requested to be closed and vacated and abandoned is described as <br />follows: <br />All of the streets, drives, avenues, right-of-ways <br />and the like as reflected on that certain plat of <br />FELLS MANOR, Plats 1 and 2, a subdivision, according <br />to the Plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 1, at <br />Pages 73 and 74 of the Public Records of Indian River <br />County, Florida, said property being otherwise des- <br />cribed as: All of Tracts 1904, 1905, and 1906, Town- <br />ship 32 South, Range 37 East as per plat of FELLSMERE <br />FARMS COMPANY, as recorded in Plat Book 2, Page 8 of <br />the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida <br />Your Petitioner is the owner of all of the aforedescribed <br />property together with all tracts of land surrounding same, to -wit: <br />Tracts 1803, 1804, 1805, 1806, 1807, 1903, 1907, 2003, <br />2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, the same being according to the <br />Plat of FELLSMERE FARMS COMPANY Plat Book 2, Page 8 of <br />the Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida, now <br />located in Indian River County, Florida. <br />THAT the said properties have been reflected on the tax rolls <br />as Tracts even though the said Plat was placed of record in 1926, for <br />the past number of years, and the taxes have been paid by the Petitioner, <br />or their successors in Title, for many, many years. <br />WHEREFORE, the undersigned Petitioner respectfully petitions <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida to <br />close, vacate, and abandon the streets, roads, places, alleyways, and <br />rights-of-way of the property herein described. <br />DATED this 21 day of November, 1962. <br />LAKE MIAMI RANCH, INC. <br />By: /s/ Manuel Garcia <br />(CORPORATE SEAL) MANUEL GARCIA, President <br />After further discussion, Motion was made by Commissioner <br />Macdonald,, seconded by Commissioner Hamilton and unanimously carried, <br />recommending the petition be accepted and approved and advertised for <br />public hearing on January 8, 1963 at 9:30 o'clock, A. M. <br />Carl Failmezger, Chairman of the Republican Executive Committee, <br />appeared before the Board and presented the following complaints and re- <br />commendations"with regard to election boards. <br />
