6 � blC> <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br /> PROFESSIONAL CIVIL ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> AGREEMENT FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING, SURVEYING <br /> AND BRIDGE DESIGN SERVICES <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING/LAND SURVEYING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN IGMLEY-HORN AND ASSOCIATES, INC. AND <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA. <br /> This is an amendment to the existing Engineering/Land Surveying Services Agreement (AGREEMENT) <br /> dated April 1St, 2003 between Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc . (ENGINEER) and Indian River County <br /> (COUNTY) . This amendment addresses changes in " Section III - Scope of Services " , " Section V - <br /> Compensation" and " Section XVI — Duration of Agreement" of the AGREEMENT . <br /> Amendment Description <br /> This Amendment includes the following: <br /> " SECTION III — SCOPE OF SERVICES " is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> Utility Desigll <br /> 41St Street bridge replacement : <br /> The ENGINEER will develop construction documents to detail the 12" water main <br /> extension that presently terminates approximate 250 feet east of 66th Avenue along <br /> 41St Street. The water main extension will be constructed across the south side <br /> bridge utility shelf to avoid additional utility modifications associated with future <br /> bridge widening. The utility will be extended approximately 100 feet north and <br /> south of 41st Street to avoid impacts to the reconstructed bridge approach slab and <br /> superstructure associated with future utility extensions . <br /> Utilily Permittin <br /> The ENGINEER will incorporate these utility modifications within a FDEP public drinking water <br /> permit and/or notification. The consultant will coordinate with FDEP in regards to obtaining these <br /> permits and/or authorizations. The COUNTY- Vill be responsible for all permit application and <br /> agency review fees . <br /> " SECTION V — COMPENSATION" is being modified to incorporate the following : <br /> The COUNTY agrees to pay and the ENGINEER agrees to accept for services rendered pursuant <br /> to this Agreement fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following : <br /> A.
